I use it to stream live video from several different cameras I have (1 at a time for now) including the
Amcrest IP2M-842E POE camera I purchased from here a week or so ago. VERY happy! Want more.
Setting up a video stream can be frustrating and I found a place that has the VLC streaming paths
for the Amcrest I just bought.
Also lists just about every camera/DVD/NVD I've heard of. VERY valuable if your going to use VLC.
For example the streaming path for my new Amcrest is "http://IP ADDRESS/axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi"
It would have taken me a LONG time to come up with that.
