Using Flir Cloud Client for Amcrest cameras

Post by Brien »

I have an Amcrest 4-camera 720p system at my business that I can view remotely via the internet. When on-site I'm able to view all the cameras on my TV via HDMI.

I also have a Lorex 6-camera 1080p system at my house. For that I use their proprietary software "Flir Cloud Client" that works both on-site and remotely. When I'm on-site at my office I can also view my Amcrest system with the Flir software. I'd like to figure out how (if) I can configure it to view my Amcrest remotely. Any ideas?

Here's screen shot of the Flir software for adding systems.

Hello Brien ,

In order to be able to view the DVR system remotely through a computer system, you need to set up port forwarding for multiple ports of the DVR. I think you can then add the device with the public IP or DDNS and the port number. Please check out the below video tutorial on port forwarding the HDCVI DVR.
