It's pretty much all in the subject. I have a HD-CVI 720p DVR and I believe it says it can support 1080p up to 15fps. I just want to know if I purchase one 1080p camera will I be okay as long as I run it at only 15fps?
Also, out of curiosity, why is this any different than a HD_CVI 1080p DVR?
Thanks
Use a 1080p Camera with a 720p DVR?
Re: Use a 1080p Camera with a 720p DVR?
Hello,
Yes it is possible to use the 1080P one but its not recommended as the 720P DVR is not designed to support the 1080P cameras. Even if the camera can output 1080P, you might not get the best view through the DVR. The 1080P DVR has more processor power to process input from 1080 cameras.
