upgraded firmware - now settings reset on reboot

I have a camera mounted upside down on the ceiling and because of this I had enabled image rotate 180 degrees.
Now every time the camera reboots the settings revert to default. Also the preset settings revert as well.

I upgraded to firmware V2.420.AC00.17.R from 15.R

Do you have this camera added to Amcrest Cloud? If so adjust the flip from the cloud and see if it works.

can you revert back to previous firmware version?

i always download the versions this way i can revert back easily. Also, unless the camera is broken I refrain from updating.

Prior to the last firmare update, the camera would default to a preset position.

Now, after the weekly reboot, it goes to some unknown position.

How do we get the camera to default to preset 1 or a known preset after a reboot ?
