Anyone have any idea why my hardwired ProHD cameras go offline after maybe 30 minutes, and I receive the following error message when pinging them via the IP Config tool? "The device and pc are not in the same segment or the port is wrong."
All devices are hardwired via CAT6 and are on the same 192.168.10 network. Router is set to exclude their IP addresses when assigning IP's via DHCP. Router default gateway is 192.168.10.1.
If I unplug the cameras and plug them back in, they come back online for maybe 30 minutes then go back offline. I initially thought that perhaps my ASUS' DoS setting was interfering with them. It's since been disabled.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Re: The device and pc are not in the same segment or the por
SOLVED: I resolved this problem, and the cameras have operated for days now without incident. Footnote: both of my cameras are hardwired with static IP addresses. Last night, I had changed the Wireless IP address from Static to DHCP. I corrected the problem above by changing Wireless IP back to Static.
In summary, if you are hardwired and you set the Wired IP address as static, you must also set the Wireless IP address as static as well.
Yes - I know this doesn't make sense, but neither does the fact that you have to enable WIFI in order to receive notifications with hardwired cameras!
