Surveillance View Pro Playback Not Working

Surveillance View Pro Playback Not Working

I have a IP2M-841B camera with a 60 GB memory card installed on a cable WiFi router via a static IP. I am running Surveillance View Pro on a Windows 7 PC. I can view live video from the camera fine but I cannot get the Surveillance View Pro SW to reliably "see" and allow me to view past recordings. Once in a while I can search and view recordings but most of the time not so much. I can bring up the recordings on the app on my android device. This is driving me nuts. How do I solve this??????

I have exactly same problem can remotely view via in built http page but not via amcrest pro software very frustrating. The search button just spins then never finds footage.

Exactly. I did a call with tech support and that was no help. Mumbled something about there is some known interaction between the phone app and Surveillance View Pro. Whatever that means. Off and on over the past couple days I have continued to try various combinations of things to see if I can come up with the "right" combination but so far no luck. So far it seems totally random as to if it works or not...

I think I found the / a solution. I checked the status of my camera memory card and it was full. Even though I have it set to overwrite once it gets full I wondered if that was the reason I could not pull stored events. I reformatted the card. It seems that I am now able to pull stored events from that time on. I only did the reformat an hour or so ago so so far have limited run time. Will watch it going forward and will see if the card being full was the problem...

The card being full seems to have been the problem.

It might possibly be either a problem with the card itself (maybe some card brands work better than others on the Amcrest?) or perhaps some kind of one-off firmware-based issue--the card in my camera is "full"--57767.9 MB out of 59649.4 MB (64 GB card) used, yet I can access any of the recorded video files off of it (files currently available are dated from 11/3 to 12/18--i.e., 11/3 to current) via Amcrest Web interface on my desktop PC.

Note--the "currently used" amount has been around 57700 MB pretty much for at least the last week so it's not a matter of it working because my card isn't "full".
