STOP with your invasive Chat Window!!!
First we can't get any support from Amcrest and now these damn chat windows pop up constantly even after you close them. Put a chat link on the forum and if someone wants it let them click on it requesting further assistance.

Apparently Amcrest hasn't learned their lesson, STOP WITH THE ANNOYING POPUP CHAT WINDOW!!!!
Create a link and if someone whats to "chat" with you let them click on it and start a conversation.

Also note that the names and pics used in the chat windows are misleading. The support team is located in India, but the chat window presents them as something else.

Agree, they are 100% annoying! I found that if I just minimize the chat window instead of actually closing it, it seems to remain out of the picture--for that session of course.

You can minimize the chat window while you are on the website and it will not pop up again. If you close the chat might pop up again. We will be working on a better solution for this.

I'm new to Amcrest and have immediately disliked the Chat Window! And it's only for sales to boot! Most of the time, they don't even answer questions!

I must agree. The "Sales" chat window is extremely annoying. It generally stays down when minimized, but it annoys me to even have to bother with that since they want to sell me more products even though I won't buy any till they provide me adequate support for the one's on which I've already spent about $250. A smaller price than some I know who are having trouble with their product(s), but significant to me.
One time I chatted with a sales person about getting a larger system, but at that time I was still having an issue with the cameras. Since then I fixed one issue, only to have a much worse issue rise up after a camera firmware update. Glad I didn't go for the sales pitch.
Even if their support was more responsive in the background, like their sales is in the foreground, I'd be much more positive about this company. As it is now, I'm becoming more and more disappointed daily as my issue goes unaddressed and unresolved.
