I have 4 cameras...I updated the Admin account password on all 4 of them, however on two of them, I forgot to click "Save" on the "Manage Users" page. Now I'm not able to log in with either the new or the old password. I also unplugged the camera and plugged it back in and I'm still not able to log in with either password.
This problem happened on two IP3M-HX2 cameras. I can't tell you the firmware version since I can't log in, but I regularly keep them up to date.
This seems like a bug to me...
Steps to recreate the issue:
1. Log into camera as Admin
2. Navigate to System > Manage Users
3. Click pencil icon under "Modify" column for the Admin user
4. Check "Modify Password" box
5. Enter Old and New passwords in the appropriate boxes
6. Hit save
7. DO NOT hit save on "Manage Users" page
8. Logout
9. Try to log back in...you will be prompted with invalid password.

Hello I will have to give it a Try and see what I get lol...
But here is an Idea... If you can't log in and haven't already did a Factory reset... Try to log in with admin and no password and see what happens... Just an idea... If that don't work. The good thing is the Reset is easy to access on these cameras and to do it... There is a Button on the Back RST, Press it for 10 seconds if you still have the LED on or if not you will know when reset because the Red led will light... Then log in again with admin admin... setup and your in business...

@Revo2Maxx I ended up having to do a full factory reset. I did not want to do that because I have a lot of configurations done on the cameras. Yes, I do have backups, but it's still a pain because I am using wifi. Which means I had to go and get each camera that was locked out, and wire them into the router to get them set back up.

Sorry to hear that.. I have done a few Resets and yes very much a PITA.. Odd thing is I have all mine backed up as well and when I reset one yesterday I went to restore it and the back up I had was before I did the last UPDATE to it and sadly I didn't do a back after the FW update so backup didn't work.. Ouch. So now that the day is over I have almost all things setup the right way.. I keep exporting incase something happens and have to do a Reset...

@Revo2Maxx yeah. Worst part is after doing all that, today I just upgraded the firmware on all 4 cameras and did a full factory reset only to run into the same issue you mentioned.
Also I learned that the new backup files are no longer JSON/XML(can't remember what they were before). And I used to make manual changes to the recorded file naming convention. So I guess now I'll just have to use whatever the camera uses.
