I bought this from amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0145OQXCK)
Amcrest ProHD 1080P WiFi Wireless IP Security Camera - 1080P (1920TVL), IP2M-841W (White)
So far it's been good but there's a problem with connecting to SFTP, and this is rather important for me. If this doesn't work I am afraid will have to return.
I have a remote server and would like to connect to it so I can record all day everyday but doesn't seem to work.
No matter what I type it says server connection failure.
I have SFTP setup there running under port 22. I can access it via Terminal but Amcrest setup just keep saying `Server connection failure`.
Does Amcrest have a problem with SFTP? Is this the problem?
[edit]
I enabled ftp with port 21 also, same error. Now my question, we can't connect to remote servers?
My camera details;
Software Version2.520.AC00.18.R, Build Date: 2017-06-29
WEB Version3.2.1.453504
ONVIF Version2.42(V2.2.2.428697)
Error message attached.

Re: SFTP/FTP Remote Access for my new Camera IP2M - 841W
You don't appear to have anything entered for the SFTP Server address?
You'll need either the name of your server. Something like ftp.yourserver.com, or a numeric IP address 192.168.1.nnn

Did this issue get resolved? Does the Amcrest HDPro work with sftp? I can't get it to authenticate on my server and it appears its only trying to connect via FTP. ???

This is a problem for me, still. Does anyone know a way around it?
Re: SFTP/FTP Remote Access for my new Camera IP2M - 841W
Yup, SFTP doesn't work for me. I ended up using regular FTP using FileZilla as server. It works well so far. But I only use it for sending screenshots (with motion detect) because of internet bandwith (cameras being overseas).
IP2M-851E with remote FTP for snapshots.
