Settings not saving

Hello, I have a IP2M-841B.

The video settings seem to get reset about once a day. Specifically, the Mirror and Rotate 180 degree settings.

I use a static IP, but that setting mostly sticks (it reset once).

Please help.

Hello flizzle87,
Have you added your camera to Amcrest cloud? If you have, the settings in the cloud takes preference over the settings on the camera. Other than this, if you use any software or application, ensure that it has the correct settings for the flip/mirror etc

I was able to configure the cloud setup so that it would stay flipped and mirrored. The problem we are still having is the fact that the system continues to reset randomly. There is no option on the cloud to set detection area and that is the next problems that is annoying because my camera partially aims at the street and when it resets , every passing vehicles sets off a notification.

I have found the settings on the cloud loosely fit the settings on the camera. I eventually had to remove my cameras from the AMCREST cloud because of the issues you are having. I have not had nearly the issues I had previously since I did. Unfortunately I already paid for a full year.
