setting up a SD card

Hi everyone I have an Amcrest ProHD model IP2M-841B camera. I can't figure out how to format/and or set up a SD card that works in my camera. I have an iMac for my home computer. Do I have to load the CD that came with the camera to be able to do that?
Any help is greatly appreciated !

So, I have to load up the CD in my computer and plug the SD card into the computer to format it. Is that correct?

No. There is a slot on the back of the camera. Put the SD card in there.

You can put the SD card inside the camera and format it through web interface or else connect the SD card to a computer and Format it in FAT 32.
