Our new DVR came and out of the box the default Password 12345 does not work? is there an easy reset or do you think we may have a bad unit ?

Assuming you have the 960H Dvr, there is a forgot password option in the login screen. Click that and it will give you a random code. You need to call our support team with the random code and we will provide you with a master key to login. The key is only valid for 15 mins so you need to call as you do it. If you do not have the 'forgot password' option, you will have to hard reset the DVR by opening it. Please check the link below for that.
