I have been attempting to get RTSP working following the amcrest guide with VLC. This has worked previously before unplugging it.
I have factory reset it, tried it again and then upgraded to the latest firmware and still to no avail. I have tried setting different static ips via dhcp and still nothing. I have also tried FFMPEG

It's also worth noting I am doing this over lan and the webui has no problems

I don't know. I have the same camera and my system is working just fine using RSTP on VLC..
I am using Software Version V2.820.00AC000.0.R, Build Date: 2022-03-25
SO I am not sure. It could be a connection issue. Are you using the same RTSP command that you used before just changing the IP to the right one? Of if the Password is different chaning that as well? It is working for me.
