I just purchased a IP3M-956E IP POE camera. Everything on my internal home network works good. I am wondering if the there is an easy way to view the live stream externally without having to use the Amcrest Cloud. I was wondering when and why I would want to use the sub-stream?
Any help would be great.
Remote Viewing
Re: Remote Viewing
Hello mcmullen0204 ,
The easiest way to access this camera remotely is by using the www.amcrestview.com portal. Here you can create an account and then add your camera with your camera serial number and username and password for the camera. With this, you will be able to watch the camera from anywhere. The other method is by setting up port forwarding. The below video tutorial explains that process. Please contact our support if you are having any issue with the set up.

Re: Remote Viewing
Thanks I will try this later. How many users at one time can use the Live View app? I have created multiple users but can't seem to view it from the app on my iPhone.

I have the 3MP WiFi Bullet Camera. Can I setup streaming on my website so anyone can watch live?

I've downloaded http://107.170.59.150/V50/SecureImageDisplayV50.zip. I've read the Readme file but not understanding what the next step is? Thanks.

Do you have your own website? If so, please unzip SecureImageDisplayV50.zip and re-read "___ReadThisFirst.txt" very carefully.andej wrote:I've downloaded http://107.170.59.150/V50/SecureImageDisplayV50.zip. I've read the Readme file but not understanding what the next step is? Thanks.
Even if you don't have your own website? You can use this Interface with a website running on your own hardware vs. the hardware of a web hosting service. More here. One of many possible examples:

Note: This Interface requires php in order to be compatible with all Internet browser capable devices using any browser. Without ever needing a plugin or media player.

I have read the resource that you have shared here. But I am still unable to understand if this situation fits in my case. You see, I own a website and is hosted on Amazon hosting. So, will I be able to replicate the process.TheUberOverLord wrote:Do you have your own website?
