I'm having the same issue with my IP2M-841E. I set the D&N Delay to 10s and the D&N Sensitivity to Low, but the issue still seems to be occurring. Even when the camera is in total darkness, it still switches night vision off every few seconds. It'll come back on shortly after, but it's still a pain. Night vision should stay on consistently when it is pitch black. I'm gonna contact support directly to see if they have a fix.

I chatted with a technical support agent just now. He suggested changing the BLC Mode to WDR and keeping the default slider value of 50. I won't be able to test those settings until it gets dark tonight, but I'll report back to see what happens

I had another chat with one of their tech support agents. Attached is the full transcript of the chat. I'll be returning my camera to Amazon and seeing if a replacement has the same issue or not.

I have also started having this problem. I've only had the camera for a week or two now and it seemed okay at first, but maybe I just wasn't noticing this problem. I was thinking about exchanging it as defective, but it looks like it's a firmware problem (since others are having the same issue).

I guess I'll wait a little longer and hope they fix it. I can just disable night vision for now, I guess. I don't need it for my application most of the time (watching pets while at work), but it is nice to have and it SHOULD work.

Just wanted to register my support for getting this bug squashed.

I have 6 IP PoE night vision Cameras they do the EXACT same thing. I have found that across the Amcrest product line this issue is prevalent. They either ignore the problems, and don't read these boards, or just don't care because they have our money. I used to only use Foscam cameras, and they worked flawlessly.

Again, months and months of night vision turning on and off in pitch black and no response from amcrest. I might as well have no camera.

Hello robrest,

This issue could be triggered due to any external lighting. You can try setting up a schedule for day and night vision under setup > camera > Configuration > Profile management so that it switches the modes based on a set schedule.
