How do you set a camera to automatically change between day and night profiles based on dusk and dawn sensing, rather than a time schedule?
Thanks,

Profile Management
Re: Profile Management
As far as I can tell with my cameras - mix of IP2M-852's, IP3M-954's and IP2M-841's, no, this isn't possible.
It makes no sense to me at all, but it appears that there are two different day/night "things" in the firmware:
1. "Night Vision", black & white and IR illuminator, which can be on, off, or automatic (based on detected light levels).
2. Profiles, which can contain different video settings, which are either manual or based on a timer schedule.
#2 makes no sense to me at all. I don't understand why the profiles can't be automatic based on the same logic/detection as the Night Vision, so that i.e. when the camera automatically switches to IR/Night Vision, it also switches all of the other video settings to the "Night" profile.

Re: Profile Management
I've found out that this is possible to enable via the API, it just doesn't seem possible via the web interface. Please see my post here: https://amcrest.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 994#p24994
