Problems with IP3M-954E firmware

I purchased a IP3M-954E POE camera back in March, and recently updated the firmware to the latest version per the site (amcrest.com/firmware). The new firmware version is V2.400.0000.15.R. After updating to this version, the camera no longer detects motion correctly and uploads blank video recordings when it does detect motion. It was working fine right up until I updated the firmware. I have tried numerous settings on both the camera and router, also rebooting and resetting everything....still same issue exists. Has Amcrest addressed this issue with the firmware?
