I have 4 Amcrest IP2M-841 ProHD 1080P (1920TVL) Wireless WiFi IP Camera, Black been recorded whit the PC-NVR. Is there any way I can access to the PC-NVR recording when the camera is offline? Let's say, for example, when a buglar hits it and get it broke.
Thanks for your help.
Playback the recording of an offline camera.
Re: Playback the recording of an offline camera.
Hi,
The PC-NVR does not record to the computer as individual files. It does that into an allocated space which is not accessible by the user. So there is no way to get the files recorded by the PC-NVR. If you want to record these as files you have to setup FTP server on the computer or use the third party software called Blueiris.

Re: Playback the recording of an offline camera.
I don't want to get the files, I want to see the video recorded by the camara, even if the camera is offline. Is there any way to do it? Or are you telling me that if an intruder broke the camera I have no way to access the video through the Amcrest Sofwater? Is that so, using the Blueiris software would allow me to do that?
Please be clear.
Thanks.
PS: I'll appreciate if you don't delete my message asking for answers that are part of the service you promise when I bought the camera.

Re: Playback the recording of an offline camera.
Hello Hank Wolf ,
Apologize for the confusion but if the device is offline unfortunately there is no way to get the recordings to play back on the software. Blue Iris should be able to play back recordings irrespective of the camera being offline. The next option might be to set up a local NAS device such as the WD cloud and record using the FTP feature.
