Re: playback on pc
This is the exact question I have. I want to be able to save all motion activities to a specific folder on my computer. I'm willing to be running a background program to do this.

Hello,
Are you using the Amcrest IP camera? Currently it does not support recording motion detection videos to a PC with the built in software. You can record to cloud, FTP, SD card etc. Its possible to record to a computer with the help of Blue iris software. Its a third party program.

Re: playback on pc
If I have an FTP account and I create a folder on that, how do I setup recording to that?
Google searching didn't help me.
Thanks

Hello,
You could also use the Amcrest Surveillance Pro software to be able to record on your PC and play back. You can download it from the link below.
https://amcrest.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/ar ... llance-Pro
For FTP recording, you need to input the FTP details under Set up > record > Destination. You need to enable FTP and input the FTP address, the username and password and the upload folder. If you have already done that please try to attach a screen shot of your settings so that we can look deeper into it.
