Playback doesn't work on ViewPro 2

Playback doesn't work on ViewPro 2

Hello,

I have two cameras (IP5M-B1186EB-28MM), and NVR (NV4108-A2). All of them are in the same untagged VLANs. I added both cameras in the APP using their IP. I can see live feed on the APP (Amcrest ViewPro 2 version 1.0.1) but playback doesn't work. It shows "No record-front_cam". When I refresh, the message turns to "connection failed.--front_cam" - see images below.

However both live, and playback works when accessing the NVR from a web browser. I also tried the Amcrest View Pro, but playback doesn't work here too. I am access the cameras via the app from a different VLAN with full tcp/udp access on any port. What could be the problem?

Is your systems added on IP or P2P? Mine is working fine over ip

Can you confirm that your system has recorded data missing from the camera? I mean if you are trying to playback from Micro Sd card there has to be data recorded to playback.

I am not sure what else it might be seeing the app is newer and I don't use it much, Mainly only use for my 2685EW-AI camera because it can turn on the lights and things that the AVP can't do from that app..

@Revo2Maxx Yes the NVR records data. I can playback three weeks of data from the NVR on a web browser. The NVR has 1TB hard disk with a retention period of about three weeks.

@Revo2Maxx I'm happy to report that playback on each camera via the NVR works after I added the NVR ip in the device list. When accessing the camera on the browser, the playback option is available only for sd cards. In my case I don't have sd cards. What I see in APP confirms this behavior where I don't have access to the nvr storage (playback) by adding cameras on IPs.

Sorry thought you were trying to load from a Camera. Then yes if you are connecting VIA a NVR it would only be able to play back from the NVRs HDD if it was setup to record.. Also on some you might have to choose a different method then ALL to get it to play back..

If you click the time line does it show there is a recording Icon for the day you are working with for your camera? Also forgot you were in Ip camera area so thought you were trying from camera.
