Using the 10808 HDCVI dvr

I have 3 channels on constant rcd, the rest are set to motion. If I select 8, 4 or even one channel to be displayed if I click to an advanced segment to get close to a MD clip, the playback will revert to the beginning on the day when there is clearly hours of feed on other channels to view.
