NV4108 delete entire disk???

Hello

Just added a hd to my NV4108 to see if it recognize the disk before I buy the same disk.
Has the nice feature to format... But even if you don't do anything nvr seems to write a disk label and delete the whole disk!!!!
Is this really so?
Not very nice

Hello tkmbe99 ,

It does not format the HDD automatically unless you click on the 'Format' option for HDD under HDD manage settings. I am not sure what might have happened in your case.
