NV4108 compatibility with Foscam C1

Post by WilliamA »

Hi,
Has anybody successfully added a Foscam C1 to the NV4108? I have added Amcrest Pro HD and Foscam 8010, FI9831P, FI9900p without problems but the C1 will not activate. The C1 is in wireless mode with good reception. I also tried to connect the c1 directly to the router. The C1 has a static IP and similar configuration as my other cams. I also tried removing the other cams and only adding the C1 but it will not connect to the NVR. Please assist.

Thanks.

I actually just had this problem this weekend after I received my NVR and was on here looking to see if anyone else could get it to add correctly as a Foscam device. I finally did get it to add as a ONVIF device. Just make sure you enable it in the C1's firmware and it works fine. It bothers me that it won't add the correct way but I guess I will take what I can get.

Thank you! Adding the C1 as ONVIF works.

I have NV4108 and C1 as well. I tried both Foscam and ONVIF, and both does not work. In the C1 I enabled the ONVIF and changed the ONVIF port to 888 and RTSP to 5554. The HTTP port was changed to 83 also. I put both RTSP and HTTP ports in when adding the camera. I don't see anything in preview windows

For some reason it wants the ONVIF port # under HTTP. If that doesn't work try resetting the "system config" and "remote device" under Setting->Default. If you perform the reset, you will need to add all the cameras again.

Adding as onvif does work to get the video to show in the web access and on the nvr itself, but it still will not connect in the Amcrest View app. Any help to get this to work on in the app also would be much appreciated.
