So i purchased a 960H with 8 cameras. Setup was easy and at first everything worked great. Then of course security and bug issues came about so browsers that used to work no longer work because Amcrest is using outdated APIs that are so full of holes you could drive a fleet of Trucks through them.
So i switched to the smart client. THat worked but playback crashes, everytime no matter what is done.
Called support several times, was told to try firm updates. Did all of that and nothing ever fixed it.
So now today I call in and they tell me to use Amcrest Surveillance Pro. I download it and add in my HVR and well guess what.. it shows offline. Been trying to reach support to get this fixed but so far no luck.
Has anyone else gotten this system to work with pro? what am i missing here?
