No motion detection or recording...

I have five IP4M 1026 cameras around my property, had them for between 2 and 3 years, all but one of them will not detect motion or record to the SD card, the cameras are set up correctly etc, is this a common problem ? anything can be done ? Ive reset them all reinstalled them several times, changed SD cards etc etc but still the same problems-

Are they all on same Firmware? If you have them setup right they should work. At times refreshing the device with fw could make things better if non newer then what is already installed
