No color at night

I have five cameras (2) 841s, (1) 721, and (2) 943s.

At night, the 841s and 721 show color, but the 943s, under the same lighting conditions, only display in black and white.

Is this by design, or can I change a setting to display color with the 943s at night?

Well at first I thought maybe it was an older CVI camera system that you camera might have been from, however your camera is an IP camera and should have just like all the others same type of settings, However don't quote me on this because thinking little more maybe Q camera from early Amcrest days that was paired with 3108 if that is the case then maybe not.

So you would want to look at your cameras setup, Camera, Configuration... Under there first check the Profile Management and see if you have it setup for Day and night by Schedule?

Next click back on Configuration and you can make changes in Day and or night settings to reflect your needs.. If you don't want night to come at all and change to B/W on the Profile Management click on Full Time and pick Day setting. then again in Configuration click on the area that says Day/Night make sure Day is picked and change the method from Auto to Color.. This is also what you would want to do if you were to set up a Schedule and wanted to have your camera that gets good light even past its normal detection of turning it B/W and you can have it Scheduled when you want it to go B/W..

Like say you had an area that was really well Lit until 10pm in the Schedule you would pick 10pm for when you wanted Night to start then in Day by picking Color only rather then Auto it will stay Color until you tell it different by Schedule or change in setup...
