I've successfully logged on to my camera using amcrestview.com with IE on a remote PC but there is no audio even though I click the audio button at the top of the video window. I know audio is being transmitted because I can hear it when I use the Android App.
Do I have to do that specifically for the PC version of the Amcrest View? As I said in my original post I am getting an audio feed on the Amcrest View Lite Android App. So not really sure what else I need to do.
I have the same issue (IP2M-841).
I am able to listen to audio on my home network when i access the cam via the local IP address (192.168.x.x). and I am also able to listen to audio through Blue Iris which i use to record to my desktop computer at home.
I am also able to listen to audio through the iphone app (well, sometimes that works),
But I have NEVER been able to listen to audio through the amcrestview.com website method. What's up with that?
I too have the very same problem. It really defeats the purpose for my system. I have the nest system at my office and it works great. I got Amcrest for my home and love every bit of it accept I have actually go home to hear recordings.
Well I guess they know about it but have no interest in fixing it. I to am very disappointed. I got two cameras for my home to test before I covered the whole house and my flooring stores but this kinda defeats the purpose for me.
If audio does not work for you with Amcrestview on PC, please try accessing the web interface of the camera remotely by setting up port forwarding. You can call our support team if you need any help with that.
