I am trying to set up a new IPM-723B camera on Amcrest Cloud on my iPhone.
I am stuck at "Enter Camera Credentials"
I have tried username = admin, password= admin, username= admin, password = password, all lower case. I even tried username = My Amcrest Cloud Login Name, password = my cloud password.
Nothing works.
I am obviously doing something wrong.
Any ideas?
New IPM-723B Camera Credentials not working
Re: New IPM-723B Camera Credentials not working
Hello and Welcome to the Forum
I don't use the Cloud since 2019 so it has been a while. What I think is important is that you log into the Cameras WebUI (IP Address for the Camera) using IE, if you have never used the camera and it is new then password and user to access camera is admin admin..
Once you log in it will or should ask you to make changes of the password. Personally I wouldn't use the same that you setup for your cloud but each is their own... Once you get in there should be a button at the top that says Amcrest Cloud. CLick that and it should open a new tab and you will log in there. Please note main reason I don't use cloud is because I access my cameras a lot and make changes. If you don't make the changes in the cloud your camera will be returned to the settings that are in the cloud.
Next reason is I don't want any other space outside of my own to store my footage. Anyone want my footage they ask for it, get a warrant or will have to hack my network, then my cameras. On the cloud I wouldn't know there was a breach until it was done and over and by then could be to late...
