Multiple iPhones

With the Amcrest ProHD IP camera, can I configure my phone and my wife's phone to view the camera feed, or is only one phone allowed?

Hello,

You can view the camera feeds on both the phones. Make sure that you are using Amcrest view lite/pro app on your smart phone.

How do you configure the second iphone - can't seem to get it to connect and I am unsure what steps to go thru when configuring the second iphone to display my cameras live video feed. I am using the Amcrest view pro app on my iphones.

Hello,

You can scan the QR code using the Amcrest pro app on the second I phone and the camera will be detected by the Pro app. Please enter the correct username and password.

I'm having the same problem here.Setting up my iPhone was no problem, but there was no way I could get my wife's iPhone to connect. All I kept getting was the "user locked" fault. Just to update I setup my phone last night working fine, now today there is between 20-25 second delay between what the camera sees and what comes through the phone. This is wifi connected also. Hopefully there is a fix to these issues.

Hello,

The delay could be because of the low network bandwidth. you can lower the camera resolution and give that a try.

Don't think that is my problem. I am trying to configure iphone #2 at a time when Iphone #1 is not connected. Its just not working and it is getting extremely frustrating that no one seems to be able to give step by step instructions how to configure iphone #2.

rpg51, not bandwidth problem. same thing happened to me. very frustrating. i deleted the app several times and reset the camera several times. although i did not record how i got past the User Lock, it has something to do with the password. typing in a new password (i think required by setup process) seemed to be at the root of the problem. during the last set up, i did not change the password and i did not type in a password when app requested on on a different screen. i now have two phones hooked up. have iPad and i'm pretty sure i will have the same User Lock problem if I try run setup for that device. IP config causes the same problem on the Mac, and i'm afraid to run that program again. Luckily I only unboxed one of the cameras. I don't really have time to go through this lengthly process to hook up each camera. yes very frustrating and nothing in the manual about how to troubleshoot password problems.

I am unable to configure my second iphone to display the live camera feed. I have a question. If you follow the directions in the manual to set up using the iphone app you are directed to use the user name admin and the password admin. Should you use this same user name and password when setting up iphone #2? The manual does not address this question so far as I can tell.
