Hello guys - what I did was created 2 new accounts with admin privileges - one for my iphone and other for my wife.
And i was able to configure live view in both iphones this way.
This stupid application was always complaining that "this user is already logged in" - when I tried to use same admin userid in both phones.

hope this helps

Success. Sort of. I have two iphones both able to connect to my cameras and display live feeds. So that is good. I am not 100% sure - but I suspect that two iphones cannot be connected to a camera using the admin name at the same time. That may have been the problem I was having. Of course - no one from Amcrest mentioned that important safety tip and the documentation says nothing about it. So when I get the time I will try to figure out how to configure a different user name for my wife's phone to access.

Hello,

Yes, you have to use the same username and password for the camera on the second device as well.

Stanley - if you configure two iphones to the same user name and password can both phones be connected at the same time?

Hello,

Once you have the camera added and working wireless in one of yorr phones, all you need to do is add the camera using the p2p method on the second phone. You need to use the same user name and password which you set up when you configured the camera on your first phone.

Hello Everyone,

To add the ProHD camera to multiple devices, please use the P2P Setup method. If a camera has already been setup via WiFi Configuration on either Amcrest View Lite or Amcrest View Pro, then to add subsequent devices, the P2P Setup method should be used.

To get information on how to add a camera to your phone via the P2P setup method, please see the page 6 of the updated quick start guide: https://amcrest.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/ar ... _Guide.pdf

Still does not work for me,

I used P2P for the first iPhone, but when I used the same P2P method for the 2nd iPhone, the message displayed indicates the camera has already been added, and I was not able to proceed. Is there any special configuration?

Hi there,

For the initial setup only you need to use the WiFi Configuration setup method, After then you have to use the 'P2P Setup' under 'Add Connected Device' option. Please make sure that you put your password to the password field while doing the 'P2P Setup' as it's already changed when you did the initial WiFi Configuration.

Hi Albert,

I followed your instructions to the T and it still does not work. I used the 'P2P Setup' under 'Add Connected Device' option. Used the same password as I have on my other cell phone that is currently working and I keep getting errors about user account locked and keeps me from getting a 2nd phone working.

Please advise on what I can do to get this working.

Thank you

I am having similar problem. Is there a limit on the number of iPhones that can view live feed from one camera? I have it connected to three iPhones but for the fourth I am using the same username and password and it keeps telling me "user locked". Please advise. Thanks.
