I have 2 wifi cameras model IP4M-1026W with NVR NV5208E. Am I the only one with motion detections issues ! I set the NVR for motion detection. I do receive motion detection snapshots to my email . I see the 3 pictures but nobody is in the pictures like supposed to . I just don't get it the camera should take a snapshot of the view when of people or an object is detected and send you these pictures . Receiving pictures of Alarmmotion but not a thing is revelant in the pictures what's wrong with them .

Hello and Welcome to the Forum...
Sadly it is hard to say why your Pictures don't have what your looking for in them.. While most of mine do when the camera is placed far enough away and I have the settings set just right.. Sadly this has to be adjusted from time to time because of all the Rain, Snow and Bugs that happen to love cameras.... Good news is your able to get Alert Email with Pictures.. From time to time I just get an Empty email lol... So I just use them for a Time Stamp if I feel there is something that I need to look over I have a Time stamp that I can Refer too...
Sadly without having a Camera that has Face Rec or Some ability to have a camera with AI of some sort to detect what is what or who is who we are left with what we can get in the US or what ever country your from.. Sadly there is very few that I know of that have OPEN laws for total AI CCTV cameras and most of them are for the GOV do to the cost some of the cameras cost...
I mean I do have some Cameras that are from long ago with AI and face Detection. While it does work some times I get notices of Face Detection when it was a Bug or a Car but I have to admit when it wants to work right I like getting the Email of just a person face and not just some random Rain or leaf blowing by... Funny thing I just got one about an hour ago I was better not be anyone at this hour in my Back yard it was a Deer. Now I wish I would have kept the email lol I mean it was a Face just not human lol

Mine is brand new though . What are you guys the settings that work for you ? The motion snapshots work. I'm assuming the pictures that get send is taken before or after the fact this is why I don't see anyone in the pictures ? You would think in 2020 compagnies could easily have motion detection with no issues . Other than that I love the camera .
