Glad to hear you found something that will work for you. I have plenty of Hikvision hardware i don't use anymore and OEM Hikvision products. I have a good few that I do still use. But yeah 4mp over 8 MP in most cases is better. Then with bigger Sensor means better night view. I mean my 200 dollar Amcrest IP8M-TD2685EW-AI camera has great night vision in BR/IR at night and even Color with the Single white LED it looks great. I mean sure it has it's own minor issues but they are little enough to live with.. I mean I will admit my 4mp 4x zoom PTZ from Hikvision has options most people don't know what they are or how to use them that makes the camera very nice. But then I have a few others that are nice but give me bad Vibes so I have them out of service.
