Is it possible to FTP only on Motion Detection

Hello,
I have a IP2M-844EW dome POE camera. I have it networked with a Buffalo NAS. It saves perfectly to the NAS if I set it to record REGULAR using Aecrest Surveillance Pro on my Mac. I don't want it to constantly record (in REGULAR mode), but when I set it to just MOTION DETECT mode it doesn't record at all.

Hello Steveseg,

Using the FTP option in the camera web interface it can upload to the NAS directly only motion detection videos. For this, you need to log in to the cameras' web interface and enable motion detection under Setup > Event > Motion detect. You need to set a schedule for motion detection and set the Area for recording.

After this, you can go to setup > Storage > Destination and set up your FTP address. Also set the schedule for recording here for motion detection only.
