is it possible to change camera name?

Hello, just wondering if it is possible to change the name given to a camera during the initial setup?? If so, how??? Thanks, in advance.

If you perform a hard reset on the camera you can setup the name and password again. I have the wireless IP Cameras and pressing the green light on the back resets the camera to the defaults. Download the manual for your camera to see the steps for your model. The documentation can be found on the product page on Amcrest.com.

Did you mean the device name that shows up on NVR's and other ONVIF compatible devices? Here's the way to do it.

1. Login to the camera.
2. Go to Setup > Network > TCP/IP
3. Change the Host Name to any desired name and save the settings.
