IP8M-T2669EW-AI compare to IP8M-T2499EW-28MM)

Does the IP8M-T2669EW-AI seem to work better in the dark? I have a couple IP5M-T1179EW-28MM cameras and they work a lot better then my IP8M-T2499EW-28MM at night. The new IP8M-T2669EW-AI have the same lens setup like the IP5M-T1179EW-28MM do. My IP8M-T2499EW-28MM just aren't that good at night, tried a lot of different setting the the IP5M-T1179EW-28MM are a lot clearer at night. Has anyone tried the IP8M-T2669EW-AI at night?

I believe the IP8M-2597E should provide the best Amcrest 4K camera low light illumination because of its large 1/1.8" sensor that is reflected in its low light illumination specification at

But it might be out of stock right now.

I recently purchased an IP8M-2696EW-AI camera and was disappointed with the night image quality with default settings compared to my IP5M-B1186EW-28MM cameras. After a little more experimentation, I found that using the BLC custom configuration and drawing a box in the dark region, I was able to achieve a quality night image. I also setup a Day/Night configuration as this configuration was not ideal for day time images.

Will give that a try, not sure how to draw a box in dark region. My 5mb cameras work so much better then my 8mb cameras in the dark. Having trouble logging into my camera,it want to log in as .com setting. Its does this once in a while and not sure why.
