IP8M-2597 event email issue

I’ve been using my personal domain email to send event notifications. Yahoo and Gmail stopped working a while back. I tried to change to one of those options today. They still do not work. Yahoo and Gmail work fine for my three other Amcrest ip cameras. ???

I would look at the Date of the FW of the ones not working.. If they are in 2018 or older sadly there is code that Gmail and yahoo changed and they don't work if they are from 2019 or 2020 then I would contact Support and see if they can help you with the email issue. But I suspect it is older FW issue..

Thanks for the reply. My firmware is from 03/2020. My other Amcrest cameras work with Gmail and Yahoo. Earlier this year support wanted me to change settings in my email accounts - which I don’t want to do.

hummm that is odd most of the 2020 cameras are not having issues with Email.. if it is random I would check to make sure you not out of monthly use as there are some people that get so many or have so many cameras that they go over there monthly Transfer...

Don't use Email anymore Now I only push to my Cell there is no lag and I get notices instantly

Where is the setting for push notifications?

When you are on your CELL phone app Amcrest View Pro that you can DL for free off the Google Store or Apple Store. Then when your looking at the page with your device there is a button at the top of the app on the left 3 dots and 3 lines. Click that then click the Push Notifications
