We have several of these IP8M-2496EB-V2 cameras and they are working great. We are starting a backyard paver project and I thought it would be interesting to do a timelapse of the project.
I'm a linux guy, so I already have a simple shell script written to grab a still image from a camera and save it. This is for Axis cameras but I can easily modify it to work with any camera that I can grab an image from.
What I don't have for the Amcrest is documentation of the URL to obtain a still image (jpeg) from the web interface.
Is this documented anywhere ?
Ideally the URL could be constructed to specify resolution, compression level, timestamp on/off, etc.
Thanks.

I didn't know these could do also do an RTSP stream. Opens up some new possibilities.
