IP8M-2496EB seems delayed in Blue Iris
Just set up a IP8M-2496EB, just have it sitting on my desk right now, in Blue Iris the video seems delayed, is this normal?
Re: IP8M-2496EB seems delayed in Blue Iris
Hello and welcome to the forum...
Sorry to hear that your having some problems... I am not sure I understand the question in full?
So are you talking about having Blue Iris setup as a Recorder and have your Camera set to Record at Motion?
Or you talking about a Lag in Live View while being streamed to Blue Iris?
Without Blue Iris running on the camera or Camera on it. Have you tried to access the Camera with IE or Chrome Ext App or ASP with the same lag being present?
Sadly there are a lot of factors that can cause issues.
I have heard of others talking about having a 4 second delay in Blue iris but not in other media types so I don't know as I am not there so have to ask Questions..

tward392,
I don't know what your experience level and CPU load is with Blue Iris. But try setting Blue Iris setting to "direct to disc" for your camera, and in-camera setting to 15 fps. I suggest you search for Blue Iris forums where you'll find lots of BI information and help.

Pretty new to all this, I'll take a look at the settings. I have 5 cameras hooked up and looking at the live view, two of them just sitting on a desk and when you walk in front of both of them (1 IP8M-2496EB, 1 FOSCAM FI8904W), the IP8M-2496EB is behind the FOSCAM.jack7 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 10:30 am tward392,

Yes, Blue Iris is set up to use the camera a record at motion.
Just notice it in Live View, as stated in the other answer two different types of cameras and notice the lag in the IP8M-2496EB.
It seems like the lag is in Blue Iris. There seems to be a little in the Chrome Ext App but not nearly as noticeable as in Blue Iris.
