IP8M-2496EB continuously restarts then goes offline
I have a pair of IP8M-2496EB attached to a Netgear GC110P poe switch. The switch has the capacity to handle both cameras power consumption with a budget of 62W and the cameras drawing < 6.5W each. One camera is rock solid, never restarts but when it rains the other camera will restart every 3 minutes until it eventually goes offline. There is no leak/moisture at the ethernet plug. I can toggle the switch port off/on and then the process repeats. I don't have the firmware ver. handy atm as these cameras are remote, I will get it later today when I'm onsite. Any ideas on what to look for to trouble shoot this?

Software Version2.460.1.0.R, Build Date: 2018-06-25
WEB Version3.2.1.474688
ONVIF Version16.12(V2.4.0.485616)
I've removed the camera and plugged it directly to the switch to remove any cabling issues and it still has the same symptoms, restarting every 3 minutes and eventually going offline. It appears to be defective unless there are suggestions on troubleshooting this issue.

One assumes that you've tried other ports on the switch? Switches can become defective too, although rarely. Items like https://www.amazon.com/Inline-Ethernet- ... 07HM621FT/ are worth having in the toolbox to share with others too.

Yep , tried different ports.

If the camera is out of warranty, then you might want to open the housing and clean the circuitry with an electronics cleaning spray such as CRC brand, available at many auto parts stores:
