IP8M-2493 changing to 720P resolution

Having issue with camera resolution reverting to 720P resolution? every time the camera reboots it defaults to 720P resolution. How can I make the camera default to max 3840x2160?

If you have turned on Amcrest Cloud for your camera, it can override settings in your camera. Other programs accessing your camera could also do it. Disconnect from Cloud if connected and see if it fixes it. I don't believe you can set 8M resolution in Cloud.

Thanks for this. I was wondering why my camera wasn't holding it's motion detection regions. It turns out when the resolution is changed, the motion detection regions get wiped out.

Took me awhile to link these two things together.
