IP67 Camera motion detection stuck on
IP67 Camera motion detection stuck on
One of 4 IP67 Bullet Cameras that came in a kit (AMDV10814-4B-B) shows constant motion detection when there is no motion. If I move the camera to a different channel, the problem moves with the camera. Power cycling the camera doesn't help. Is there a fix for that, or is the camera defective?
Re: IP67 Camera motion detection stuck on
Hello rgoochr ,
Is there anything constantly moving where the camera is? Like a fan or leaves on trees? This could trigger motion and you can exclude such areas from the image to reduce the alarm.

Re: IP67 Camera motion detection stuck on
Hi Melvin,
The camera monitors the inside of a small room with no moving items. It does stop detecting when I turn off most of the lights. I'll try excluding brightly lit areas.

Re: IP67 Camera motion detection stuck on
Turns out there is a "sensitivity" setting when entering the detection region setup, but not before. Reduced sensitivity from 80 to 60, problem solved. The camera had one spot where shimmering off a stationary cable caused motion detection.
