IP5M-1190W issue when added to NVR

Post by sparky642 »

Hi, I ordered an IP5M-1190W camera using a discount code for evaluation. I was able to get the camera configured and on my network fine. When I attempted to add the camera to my Amcrest NV5208E NVR in order to capture and record the feed the camera suffers some serious issues. It appears to start a repetitive reboot loop. Are there any FW updates available to resolve this? I would prefer not to have to return the new camera.

Thank you.

Personally I would change from 265 put on 264h and see if that makes it better

Thanks for the info.. I checked the stream setting and it was set to 264 by default. I did change it to 265 and everything started working with no reboots.. will see how it does for the next few days.

Thanks for the suggestion @Revo2Maxx

Ok awesome. Thought maybe it was because it might have started the other way. I have some of my Cameras on my 4216E-AI NVR that are 265 and others that I moved down to 264 to keep good stream going. Glad to hear things are going somewhat better now.
