Hi all
Hope you all doing well. Is they a way to improve the camera quality at night time? If anything moves it leaves a ghosting trail?
Kind Regards

Hello and welcome to the forum.
The first thing that comes into my mind is to increase the amount of light available to the camera by installing additional lighting whether normal or IR. Secondly tweaking the camera settings may help. I'm not sure what you can change with that camera but dropping the frame rate and experimenting with the exposure settings may help.

Hi longedge
I will have a play around some more over the weekend, I haven't installed it into its final place yet. Adding in extra light isn't possible for me because this camera was bought to be installed into a reptile enclosure so I can monitor night time activity.
I'll post back my finding over the weekend.
Thanks

OK, IR illuminators are good for increasing the amount of light BUT the light is not visible to the human eye. See this thread for example - https://amcrest.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... tor#p28222.
Given that you see lots of night time footage illuminated with IR lamps in wildlife films, I take it that it doesn't disturb animals either.

That is great I didn't know about this. I'll play around with setting first over weekend and go from there.
Thanks for the help.
