On the IP4M-1051 if you mount the camera on its side and change the flip setting to 90 or 270 degrees the pan tilt controls don't reorient to control the camera in an intuitive manner. It would be nice of the pan/tilt controls would follow along with the flip setting.
The pan/tilt controls do seem to re-orient properly when setting flip to 180 degrees.

If you wall mounted the camera on its side, perhaps this could help and you wouldn't need the 90/270 flip.

I have that bracket, but it actually doesn't help because I'm using the horizontal dimension of the camera for extra height.

I don't know your interactions with Amcrest on this, but suspect you might have a long wait.
You could probably achieve intuitive ptz controls using TinyCam Pro android app. Here are the TinyCam settings.
