IP4M-1026W POE question.
I have an open mesh POE switch I thought I could use to power the camera. However, when I connected the camera to the POE port the camera it didn't work. Do these cameras support standard POE, or just the POE on the NVR's.
Re: IP4M-1026W POE question.
I was never able to find a reference that indicated that the wireless cameras work with POE at all. I had a similar question since I have four wireless cameras (IP4M-1026W and IP3M-956W) and five POE cameras (IP4M-1026E and IPM-1028E).
I have found that my wireless cameras do not work using power from my Netgear POE switches. I'm using the included wall wart power supply to power them and connect them to the network with hard wired Ethernet. However, my POE cameras work fine with the Netgear switches.

I have mine working using a passive POE adapter/injector for now.
