Just received IP3M-943, setup with my Android phone - video quality looks fine in the native app, thought it is hard to tell from phone.
I'm not going to use the native app, I'm going to use it with iSpy.
I connected it to iSpy (had some difficulties finding URL, the official video gives axis-cgi based URL which doesn't work for me, probably it is for different model ), finally found this URL which does work:
http://192.168.1.14/cgi-bin/mjpg/video. ... &channel=1
But to be honest, I have never see so horrible video quality in my life. I did compare the video quality with old Microsoft camera 320x240, and the old camera about 10 times better.
What did I do wrong? Is there any correct URL which should be used in iSpy and other apps? Note - my network connection is enough fast and not to be blamed.
IP3M-943 with iSpy - extremely poor video quality
Re: IP3M-943 with iSpy - extremely poor video quality
- attaching the screen shot from the browser, same quality I have in iSpy.
Re: IP3M-943 with iSpy - extremely poor video quality
Ok, looks bitrate and framerate were changed, and after I set them to 1280 and 10 respectively the quality became better. Now the quality is close to my 15 old low resolution web camera, which is already a great progress.
Now question - in the native app I have possibility to switch from SD to HD, and the quality in the app becomes much better (expected), but when I do this the quality in iSpy or web browser degrade.
Is there any way to set it HD so iSpy receives video in normal quality?

OK, fixed it, the right way to connect it in iSpy or others was:
- Use FFMPEG (H264) connection type (not MJPEG)
- Enter url:

- Enter url:
- note - subtype for the best quality should be 0. Subtype 1 will connect to 640x480 streamrtsp://yourLogin:yourPassword@yourIP:554/cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0
