IP3M-941N keeps resetting to 720p

I have the IP3M-941B wireless IP camera. It is capable of 2304x1296. But every time I go to the setup, the resolution resets to 720p. I change it back to 2304x1296 or 1080p and save it and again when I go to the setup it gets reset to 720p.

The 720p image is hazy especially at night. I like to keep it at 1080p so that the streaming does not get slowed down a lot. Any idea why the resolution wont stay at the saved setting?

Bumping my post. Making one last attempt to stay with the product. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You probably have an Amcrest Cloud account set up that will periodically update camera settings.
To stop it, there is a screen in the following video that shows how to delete your Cloud account:
