IP2M-841B sound is lost when zooming or moving camera

I've got a new IP2M-841B and it works reasonably well. I noticed that when I zoom or use PTZ to rotate the camera view, I lose the audio feed for a moment. Once I let the camera sit, the audio resumes. Is this normal? I've got it set up on WiFi an the video feed set at a relatively low 2048 bit rate and strong WiFi signal.
Any thoughts on what I can do to remedy this issue?
