IP2m-841 sub stream settings

Post by roberttimmons »

Hello

I recently purchased this camera. The issue I am having is I have it setup to my NVR and by default the NVR shows the sub stream. No big deal but on this camera I cannot find where to change the Flip and Mirror settings for the sub stream. When I change the settings under camera > Configuration It does indeed change it for the main stream but when I view the sub stream it only shows the default. So my image is upside and backwards on the substream. I have looked everywhere and I am at a loss. Please see attachments.

Hello roberttimmons ,

The flip settings should apply to both the streams equally. May I know what version of the firmware does your camera have? Also do you have the camera added to Amcrest cloud?

Thanks for the reply. I figured the same it should apply to both streams. But It Does not. When I first installed the camera. The system made me do an automatic firmware update because of a security issue. After That I checked manually and looks like to me I have the most current one avail.

Software Version2.420.AC00.11.R, build : 2016-01-06
WEB Version3.2.1.318298
ONVIF Version2.4.1

I did not sign up for the cloud but i will certainly try that. i have a nvr which takes care of the recording.. But I will do that now for the sake of troubleshooting..

Thanks!

Hello roberttimmons,

Login to the cloud and edit the camera and adjust the Flip from there.
