IP2M-841 Horrible Image
I purchased my first Amcrest camera last month. Keeps dropping wifi and I have to power cycle the camera. The image in daylight is poor resolution and larger images have flat patchy spots. IR images are low resolution and grainy with the same patchy spots. Either I have a bad camera or something that is set wrong. My other cameras are Foscam and Panasonic. The Panasonics are not HD cameras, but have better pictures. Does anyone have suggestions?

Hello lonepinedm,
Have you tried doing a hard reset on the camera?
For this, you need to press and hold the indicator light on the back of the camera for 10 - 15 seconds. The light will turn red and the camera will do its initial pan/tilt after this. You need to set up the camera once again after this as it will reset all the settings.
